Library Rules
- The Library will be open form 9 am to 4.30pm. Strict silence shall be observed in the library.
- Each student will be issued 2 library cards. Not more than two books at a time, shall be issued form the Library. Books borrowed form the Library may be kept for a maximum period of 7 days at a time.
- If a book is not returned on or before the due date an overdue charge of Rs. 1 per book, per day shall be collected.
- All marking, underlining, etc. in any book is absolutely forbidden.
- One receipt of the book the student sho8ld examine and report at once to the library assistant any damage so far unaccounted for, in the book. If the student fails to do so, she shall be held responsible for any damage, when it is subsequently detected by the Library Assistant.
- Students are expected to handle the books carefully. If a book is damaged or soiled or lost by a student she will have to replace the book or pay its present cost.
- Reference Books, Periodicals and Publications – will not be issued.
- No student should sub-lend her library book or card.
